25 Self-care ideas

 

  1. Take a relaxing bubble bath or long shower with some candles.
  2. Go for a walk outside.
  3. Write some inspirational quotes and put them up where you can see them every day.
  4. Go for a workout.
  5. Get a manicure or pedicure – men can get those too you know 😉
  6. Read a good book.
  7. Practice mindfulness – Smiling Mind is a really good app – Android, Apple
  8. Cook a good meal.
  9. Make a list of things you have achieved, it can be big or small.
  10. Watch a good series.
  11. Have coffee with a friend.
  12. Diffuse some essential oils for aromatherapy – here is some diffusers.
  13. Declutter your living space – less clutter calms the brain.
  14. Write your thoughts in a journal.
  15. Get a break from technology – don’t go on social media and stay off your phone.
  16. Listen to your favourite music without distractions.
  17. Go outside and take pictures with your phone.
  18. I love to do baking to relax – then I can invite someone over and share it with them.
  19. Join support groups online.
  20. Be kind to someone.
  21. List three things you are grateful for.
  22. Talk to someone about your feelings, it really helps you feel lighter.
  23. Get a good night’s sleep – it gives you a much clearer head.
  24. Print some pictures and put them up in the house.You can even stick them on the fridge.
  25. Build a puzzle or play some boardgames with the people you care about.
